We saw these Louboutin booties in the window of Bergdorf’s just over a month ago and immediately started drooling. We had forgotten that we had captured their gloriousness on film until this morning and we knew that we must share their beauty with all the It’s Not Just Fashion readers. As you know, our obsession with lace grows more and more each day to the point where Marisa has been DYING for a pair of lace shoes. She has been desperately missing her white lace high-tops from third grade, and suddenly these Loubs seem to fill that void. What makes these booties so delicious is the mixing of textures. Mix and match is a major trend this fall and spring 2010, and unlikely combos like lace, glitter, and leather make what used to be oh so wrong, now look oh so right. An all lace bootie would look more like a slipper and would be really hard to match, but we think this execution of a lace shoe is absolutely show-stopping.
