It's Not Just Fashion

Because Friendster is no longer cool and we refuse to tweet, we're making a tumblr. Delve into the terrible combination of Charlie and Marisa's minds that is: It's Not Just Fashion.

permalink So we were at the grand opening of the JC Penney flagship store in Manhattan this summer. And as we watched the models strut down the strip-mall-store-front looking runway in Charlotte Ronson’s “I Heart Ronson”  and Kimora Lee Simmons’ “Fabulosity” collections we couldn’t help but wonder: will JC Penney make it in the big apple? Then came the Cintra Wilson fiasco and we were sure they were doomed. MK & A to the rescue!! The news about their new line, Olsenboye (ew BOYLES) has taken the city by storm, along with their cupcake truck and “prune” smiles. But after looking over some of the pieces and this awesome video, we have to give it to the girls. They created a line of fun and affordable pieces that don’t try too hard. There is no threat of confusing the looks with their runway collections (a la Anna Sui) but there is no way you would know the clothes were bought at JC Penney.  The looks are classic, fun, and even your hipster cousin can wear most of the looks. Congrats to the twins, we hope to get to the closest JCP store in a New York Minute on the 6th.
